Night Boat Fishing Checklist.

Why Night Fishing Beats Day Fishing Any Day of the Week.

Without any doubt, night fishing trumps day fishing for a lot of reasons.

One of the largest reasons is the dimensions of the fish you can catch at night. Perhaps the reason these fish managed to get so enormous is often because they were smart enough to not eat during the moment when dinner may include a fisherman's hook within it.

I love to assume the big fish just sit around all day and take gambles on which tiny fish is going to get caught by a fisherman.

Since the fish are not as likely to associate night time to fishermen, they generally tend to take the bait with less resistance and hesitation.

-Since it is harder to see your line at night than in the day, you have a bigger chance of hooking the fish deeper than common with the delayed reaction time. We've used "Skin-so-soft" by Avon and I believe it works the best out of any of them. Anything with deet is far better than nothing at all.

-This is a manifest one.

-If you blow a fuse out on the water and your ship lights go out, you might be in difficulty. These are just some of the bigger items we've found useful during the past. This alone is sufficient to make some fishermen wish to only fish at night.
